Nottingham Forest have made yet another dramatic move in a season defined by instability.
In a brutally brief 57-word statement released at exactly 12:31am, owner Evangelos Marinakis confirmed the dismissal of Sean Dyche — the club’s Third manager to be sacked this season.
The decision came after a frustrating goalless draw against Wolves, a result that did little to ease growing relegation fears.
Dyche was only appointed in October, tasked with steering Forest away from danger after they slipped two points below safety.
Ironically, he departs with the club three points above the drop zone — but clearly, that wasn’t convincing enough for the hierarchy.
His exit follows those of Nuno Espírito Santo and Ange Postecoglou, underlining the turbulence behind the scenes at the City Ground.
With the survival battle heating up, Forest now face a critical question: will another managerial change spark a turnaround — or deepen the uncertainty? One thing is clear — patience is in short supply.
