News according
to Sports Central report that two English Premier League clubs in Everton and
West Ham have been put on alert after Italian side Torino decided to sale Super
Eagles defender Ola Aina in the summer transfer window.
According to Calciomercatio as reported by Sports
Central, Torino are ready to listen to offers for the Nigerian international
since he has not been entirely convinced by the club this season.
Turin Chairman, Urbano Cairo is said to have put
up a 10 million euros price tag on the former Chelsea academy player. The same
fee they paid the Blues when they signed him permanently last summer.
The Super Eagles defender is represented by
Nigerian agent Emeka Obasi, who is closely associated with Everton and who negotiated
the deal that took former Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi to the Toffees.
Aina has started 16 Serie A games this season and
has provided two assists, most recently against Cagliari.
Meanwhile, after missing the 2018 World Cup, Aina has
established himself as Super Eagles first choice fullback as he has started
eight of the last eleven games under Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr.
His contract with Torino is expected to expire at
the end of the 2022-2023 season.
