According to transfer news from the Mirror, Chelsea have learnt what they could have to pay for the signing of Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian ace is valued at around €120m by Inter Milan as interest in Lukaku has built over time due to his prolific stint in Italy.
Lukaku has been in sensational form for Inter Milan since joining them in 2019. He is leading their title charge this season with his goals. The Belgian has formed a deadly partnership with fellow striker Lautaro Martinez.
However, Inter are in a financial mess
and that could lead to them having to sell one of their more sellable assets. The Belgian striker is no stranger to Chelsea given he spent three years at the club. However, he couldn’t score even once.
He spent the second and third years out on loan before leaving for Everton. Lukaku then moved to Manchester United and despite decent numbers, he was let go to Inter, where he has resurrected his career. He has scored at a fantastic pace there, with 60 goals in 86 appearances.
Chelsea must go after a striker in the summer given how we have struggled for goals. Our forwards are struggling to find the net on a consistent basis. Bringing Lukaku back may not be a bad option given the Premier League experience he has and the form he is in..
