Crackdown In Italy: Inter Fans Banned From Away Matches

Italian authorities have taken firm action against Inter Milan supporters following a dangerous incident involving a firework thrown at goalkeeper Emil Audero.

The Italian Ministry of the Interior has officially imposed a three-match away ban on Inter fans as part of efforts to protect public safety.

This ruling means Inter supporters will be unable to purchase tickets for away fixtures against Sassuolo, Lecce, and Fiorentina.

The decision highlights the Ministry’s responsibility to maintain order and security at high-risk sporting events.

However, the ban will not affect the Milan derby on March 8.

Since the clash with AC Milan does not involve intercity travel, it falls outside the scope of the restriction.

A strong message has been sent: passion for football is welcome, but safety remains non-negotiable.
