Arsenal Reach Carabao Cup Final After Extra-Time Drama Against Chelsea

Arsenal are through to the Carabao Cup final after a tense second-leg clash at the Emirates against Chelsea.

The Gunners entered the game with a 3-2 lead from the first leg at Stamford Bridge in January and managed to hold off a Chelsea side that has become famous for late comebacks.

The deadlock was broken in extra-time when former Blues forward Kai Havertz scored the decisive goal, sending Arsenal fans into celebration across North London.

Mikel Arteta’s men now await the winner of the second-leg clash between Manchester City and Newcastle United for a shot at the final on 22 March at Wembley.

This victory gives Arsenal the chance to win their first piece of silverware in six years, with the team still competing across four fronts this season.

The Gunners are showing grit, composure, and the hunger to end their trophy drought.
