Chelsea have been on Declan Rice radar for many season as they see the Englishman as ideal partnership with N’Golo Kante. News emanating from France Football has it that West Ham United are said to be open for discussion for potential buyers as they have identified his replacement. Chelsea manager Frank Lampard could dive into this opportunity to sign one of his summer targets.
Rice, who is valued at about £70m has been on a scintillating form for the Hammers and have been solid playing almost every game for the London club. But according to the news that Chilean and Fiorentina midfielder Erick Pulgar could be on his way to England with West Ham identified as his possible destination, this would possible pave way for Declan Rice to make a move across London with Chelsea.
However, Football London has it that West Ham hare seriously considering bringing the Chilean as it is thought as their old guard Mark Noble is not getting younger, Pulgar would be introduced immediately into the team as it is believed he has the right amount of experience to be a hit in the premier league as he possesses all the attributes of a solid defensive midfielder.
The 26-year old will arguably be an outright replacement for Rice as he has been solid for Fiorentina and has netted 4 goals and 3 assists in 25 matches for the Italian side. The West Ham manager David Moyes is said to be ready for a move in the coming weeks to try and sign his potential summer signing..
