Paul and Tyson were supposed to go head-to-head earlier this year, but the 58-year-old boxing legend was forced to pull out of the original contest after suffering an ulcer flare up.
'Iron Mike' was advised to stop training, but has recently returned to the gym and has insisted he'll be fit to return to the ring next month.
The clash between the two boxing stars is scheduled to take place on November 15 at the AT&T Arena in Arlington, Texas in front of up to 90,000 fans.
'The Problem Child' comes into the fight off the back of a win over former UFC fighter Mike Perry back in July. As for Tyson, the former heavyweight world champion hasn't fought a professional bout since losing to Kevin McBride nearly two decades ago. He did, however, step in the ring four years ago and fought Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition bout.
Since the new date was confirmed, many within the boxing community have slammed the decision to go ahead with the event due to the whopping age gap. With Tyson 31 years older than his upcoming opponent, concerns for the contest were heightened after 'Iron Mike' recently admitted that he was struggling to walk after sparring.
One man who has weighed in on the controversial clash next month is KSI - real name Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji. The 31-year-old recently reacted to Paul's sparring footage - where he was seen dropping his training partner ahead of the event. While he was left unimpressed, the social media star believes 'The Problem Child' will 'obliterate' the former world champion.
Speaking on his official YouTube channel, KSI said as cited by Sports Central: "I've seen parts of his training footage. He (Paul) just looks awful. He just looks so slow, so sluggish. This isn't his natural weight. It is what it is. I still think he's going to absolutely destroy Mike Tyson because Mike Tyson is old as f***.
!And when he does get obliterated and then people on Twitter are going to be like 'how did we let this happen? Oh no, this is so bad!' I'm going to be the one being like 'well, I f****** told you."
KSI and Paul are long-time rivals. The pair are arguably the two biggest names in influencer boxing and have clashed several times over the years about wanting to face-off in the squared-circle. That said, it seems as if a clash between the two won't be happening anytime soon as 'The Problem Child's' showdown with Tyson is set to take place at heavyweight, with the young American bulking up for the contest in November. Meanwhile, throughout his career so far, KSI is used to competing at around 180lbs.
However, Paul has made a final offer to make the fight happen and has suggested a catchweight of 192.5lbs. Speaking on his podcast, he said: "KSI, you want 185lbs. I want 200lbs. I didn't want to budge. You didn't want to budge. Mr Beast said, 'Why don't we just meet in the middle?' Good point, Mr Beast. I'm down. 192.5lbs and that's my final final offer. He's probably just going to say, 'I'm focused on my music career.'"
