Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman insists he has "nothing against" Riqui Puig, although he continues to speculate on the young midfielder's future at Camp Nou.
Puig made his breakthrough at Barca towards the end of last season but has been ruled out from the first team under Koeman, suggesting the midfielder could leave the club.
Koeman replied when asked about a reported incident which saw the Dutchman accuse Puig of being a leak in the dressing room as cited by Sports Central: "I have nothing against Riqui Puig.
He added: "We have very young players like Konrad (de la Fuente), Matheus (Fernandes) and Junior (Firpo) who don't have many minutes, but you always think I'm talking about Riqui.
Puig is hugely talented and has a bright future ahead of himself, as Graham Ruthven (that's me!) wrote in this piece. But can be persuade Koeman of his quality?.
