Chelsea Are Unwilling To Let Christian Pulisic Join Manchester United

Chelsea will block Manchester United’s move for Christian Pulisic as they’re unwilling to let the American join a rival.

The winger is keen on a move away from Stamford Bridge as he wants to play regularly football before the World Cup, which starts in November.

United are scrambling around to sign players before the transfer window closes and they’ve identified Pulisic as a solution to their woes in attack, with the American capable of playing on both wings.

Pulisic, for his part, is open to a move to Old Trafford and United are keen to offer him a season-long loan to the Theatre of Dreams.

Chelsea are sympathetic to Pulisic’s decision to want to leave the club and they will sanction his departure.

However, according to the BBC, Chelsea will block United’s interest as they’re not willing to let him join a direct rival.

Though United have lost their first two Premier League matches this term, Erik ten Hag’s side are trying to compete for a place in the top four.

Despite his injury problems, Pulisic remains a fine talent and the likes of Newcastle have expressed an interest in him.

Pulisic is keen to leave the club following the arrival of Raheem Sterling from Manchester CIty, which has pushed him further down the pecking order.

United have failed with bids to sign Antony from Ajax, while they’re yet to be successful in an offer for PSV star Cody Gakpo.
